The Royal George has come a long way in being recognized as a top Venue in the Winnipeg music scene. A warm and comforting environment with a large variety of  music history and memorabilia displayed throughout the venue,  giving it a museum like experience that adds to the live music experience.

We are one of only a handful of venues in Canada to have live music 7 nights a week.  We feature a variety of different styles and genres of music.  Once known as a blues bar alongside the nostalgic Blue Note Cafe,  The Royal George has expanded its acts to include Top 40, Country, Folk, and Rock.

Winnipeg has historic roots in Music, and nowhere is this celebrated more than at The Royal George Hotel. You'll be amazed the artists that have played this venue, and the acts that are booked to play in the near future.

Music greats and Hall of Fame legends have donated valuable awards, records, and artifacts, in recognition of the outstanding quality music venue that the Royal George signifies in the Winnipeg music scene.
